From Monday, the Scottish Government have advised that young people aged 12 and over should wear face masks in corridors, communal areas (including toilets), where physical distancing is particularly difficult to maintain and on school transport (over 5 years old).
We will have a supply of disposable masks in school should any young person forget to bring one or have difficulty accessing one. Pupils will still be expected to sanitise hands when entering or exiting the building and when going into classrooms. All pupils were shown a video on the safe use of face masks in school today.
Where exemptions apply, young people do not have to wear a mask.
The Parent Council AGM takes place on Monday 31st August at 7pm. We are holding these meetings online until guidance changes. If you have items for the Parent Council agenda, you can send them to firstname.lastname@example.org or via the Parent Council facebook page.
Have a great weekend everyone!
