CHILDREN IN NEED
The badge holders did a great job raising funds for Children in Need last week, supported by the whole school community. They ran Girls vs Boys Football and Netball, Staff vs Pupils Dodgeball, Spice Challenge, Leg waxing, head shaving and tuck shops. They performed their traditional S6 dance (with masks) and dressed up for the final day. They raised over £1200 and extend a huge thank you to the school community for supporting this worthy cause.
TIER 4 – PE Changes
Now that we are in Tier 4, PE is unfortunately back outside. Current weather conditions are not great, and we will therefore judge activities on a day to day basis. When we can, we will run outdoor activities so pupils should be prepared with changes of clothes/socks/shoes and bringing a towel and plastic bag would be helpful. We have hairdryers on stand by too. If it is determined that it is too dangerous underfoot, or that the conditions are too severe for quality participation, then we will supervise pupils indoors and they will have a PE/Fitness related activity to work on. There will be no indoor PE while we are in Tier 4.
