Blended Return to School – Welcome Back!
It is fantastic to see our young people making a blended return to school. We are using spaces all around the school to accommodate class sizes and allow for 2m distancing. The common room, social area, games hall and small gym have been set up and while not ideal, they are allowing us to run half classes in all subjects and all year groups.
The countdown to Easter holidays is on with a full-time return for all pupils, anticipated on 19th April. In the meantime, pupils are still expected to fully engage with remote learning when they are not in school.
Deadline for S3 Options is Thursday 1st April.
Deadline for S4/5 Options is TODAY. We are still waiting on lots of returns.
It is vital pupils stick to the deadlines as we need the information to build the school timetable for next session. This is a lengthy process and therefore support in getting this information to us is much appreciated.
S2 course choice process will begin after the holidays. In the meantime, pupils can carry out some research on My World of Work.
There is an electronic version of our school calendar on the website. This is updated regularly and as you can imagine, this year in particular, is being regularly reviewed.

Could I ask that parents and carers reinforce the safety messages we give in school. It is even more important now, as we approach the holidays and families are being given the opportunity to mix in small bubbles. I genuinely hope that none of our families are forced to self-isolate during this time and hopefully with increased focus on the safety measures, we will minimise the risk.
