The Chaplaincy Team have been doing a wonderful job, accompanied by two personnel from the Armed Forces, in commemorating the end of World War 1 with classes in S1-S3 this week. Pupils heard first hand from Lieutenant Colonel Will Leek and Sergeant Major Gary Aitken about the experiences of the Armed Forces in the current day. They also led assemblies for S3-6 pupils today. Mrs Sangster and Mrs Futamata organised our own remembrance assembly for S1/2 pupils, which also took place today. The conduct of all our young people was exemplary throughout!
Mrs Crawford organised a wonderful partnership event on Thursday evening to commemorate the end of World War 1. Pupils from Gleniffer connected with Hill View Care Home and produced some wonderful artwork, which sat nicely alongside displays of uniforms and other artefacts.
