It is Children’s Mental Health week and we kicked it off with a fantastic visit from MSP Clare Haughey, MSP George Adam and Councillor Michelle Campbell. Our visitors met with staff, pupils and parents to hear about how we are supporting the mental health and general wellbeing of Gleniffer High pupils. It was great to hear about all the work at one time and see how it all fits together.
Our S3 pupils were given information during assembly this week, about their Planning for Choices and Change day, which takes place next Thursday. Pupils will be participating in a Dragon’s Den style workshop as well as meeting local employers and hearing about career paths and employability. I was also delighted that 57 of our S3 signed up for a community litter pick which took place this afternoon. Well done to them for the community spirit, especially in this horrible weather!
The school is now closed to pupils until Thursday. I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
