It’s the last week of the 2017-18 timetable. All S1-3 pupils have been issued with their new timetables and should see Mrs Prentice if there are any issues with classes. New S5 pupils should report to the Social Area on Monday morning and new S6 should report to the S6 common room for their timetables.
On Wednesday night we celebrated with S1-3 pupils and their families, their academic achievements this session, as well as recognising success in athletics, Mathematics and Service to the School. Pupils from S1,2 and 3 entertained guests playing a variety of instruments and pieces. Erica Gill, S2, welcomed guests with the bagpipes and also piped in the platform party to open the evening. Congratulations to all our award winners but also to all our pupils who work hard and give their best throughout the session.
Our school show, 9 to 5, opened on Thursday night to a packed audience. Miss MacDonald and many other staff have been working alongside our very talented cast preparing for opening night. The cast gave amazing performances, with some very charming accents thrown in, and lots of fun and laughter. The show takes place earlier this year due to a number of our cast members heading to Malawi. This added pressure to have production ready to go in time, and they did very well! Thanks to all people who bought tickets and have supported with time and props to help our production come to life!
P7s took part in their Gleniffer High Sports Day today. Thankfully the weather held out. It was incredibly warm and humid so they did well to last the day. That was our final transition event before we finish up for the summer holidays and I wish all the P7s an enjoyable last few weeks in their respective primaries. Looking forward to having you all join us in August!!
